This article only explains how public administrations must communicate information regarding their relationship with the Alert Channel service provided by AOC. You can find all the information on the website of the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia .

In accordance with Article 8 of Law 2/2023, the person responsible for the internal information system must be notified to the Antifraud Office of Catalonia.

What must be reported to the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia?

Subjects that have an internal information system, in the public or private sector, in compliance with legal obligations or by their own decision, and that are included in the scope of competence of the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia, must notify it (art. 8.3 of Law 2/2023, of February 20) within a period of ten working days:

  • The appointment and termination of the individual designated as responsible for the internal information system.
  • Or, where appropriate, the appointment and dismissal of the people who make up the collegiate body responsible for the internal information system.

They should take into account that:

  • The communication must be made within ten working days following the appointment or termination.
  • In the case of termination, the reasons that justified it must be specified.

How should communication be done?

Step 1. You must download the Communication form of the person responsible for the internal information system (art. 8 of Law 2/2023) to your computer and fill it out from there and not from the browser view. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed (see explanatory video).

If your computer does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it from the Adobe website.

Step 2. Once the form has been completed, it must be sent to the Anti-Fraud Office:
● Public administration. Submit the form through the generic submission of EACAT.
● Private sector. Submit the form through the General Registry of the Anti-Fraud Office's electronic office.
